All welcome to join us.
Topic: Relationships Across and through the Generations
Join us to explore our ever changing and evolving relationships with our friends, family (parents, young adult children, siblings, and partners), friends (longtime friends, relationships within the workplace and retirement). How have our thoughts, feelings and attitudes changed over time? What has endured and remained the same with family and friends.
As the Boomer Generation, many of us increasingly find ourselves sandwiched between the challenge and opportunity of being a parent and a child, a friend and a partner, while at the same time finding we must adapt to the myriad [as well as adapting to the myriad] of physical and emotional changes in ourselves and around us. Coming together as a community offers understanding, support and friendship as we navigate this time together.
This group is open to Baby Boomer members and prospective members born between 1946 and 1964 (and anyone who is on the cusp!), in all stages of life: single, married, partnered, widowed, almost and seasoned empty nesters.
Fran Martin, an RS congregant and a psychologist in private practice (she is also Co-Director of The Parent Child Center of the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia), serves as our guide for discussion.
Wednesday evening meetings will take place at RS from 7-8:30 PM.
Please RSVP to Catherine Fischer (, 215-627-6747 x46) if you can join us or have questions.
