SYNAPLEX

SYNAPLEX is the concept developed by STAR (Synagogues: Transformation and Renewal)  with the mission of renewing Jewish life through congregational innovation. Synaplex encourages individual synagogues to provide a flexible format of cultural, educational, spiritual and social events, offering expanded opportunities to learn, gather, pray and enjoy Shabbat together. Synaplex is looking to meet the needs of our diverse membership and to provide our congregants meaningful connections to synagogue life.

Making challah at SYNAPLEX

SYNAPLEX Shabbat starts with a pre-oneg at 5:45pm. Together we have a brief Shabbat Service at 6:15pm. Following the Service, participants choose which session to join. The sessions will run from about 7:10pm until 8:00pm at which time everyone reconvenes for a community dinner.
