DESCRIPTION:Shaping the Shoah: How Framing the Holocaust Affects our Views About Many Aspects of Jewish Life \nFeaturing video presentations from historian Peter Novick\, author of The Holocaust in American Life\, and Avrum Burg\, former Speaker of the Israeli Knesset (Parliament) and chairman of the Jewish Agency\, this program will discuss the ways in which the conversation about the Holocaust has changed in the last 50 years or so. As ideas about the meaning of the Shoah evolved\, so did the way it framed understanding of Israel-Palestine questions.
