Schedule of Events:

12:30-1:30 p.m.: Israeli dancing (FREE to all participants and open to all).  Please bring cash to purchase your falafel platters, which will be available for sale at $10 per person.

2:00-4:00 p.m.: Learn more about wines from the land where the wine making industry began more than 2000 years ago!  Arie Hochberg, principal of Israeli Wine Direct in New York City, will discuss the birth and rebirth of Israel’s burgeoning wine industry and give participants a taste of some of the nation’s most critically-acclaimed wines.  Arie travels regularly to Zahav in Philadelphia to show their sommelier staff how best to pair Israeli wines with menu items.  The cost for the wine presentation, tasting and light bites is $18 per person.

Volunteers are needed from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on April 18 to sort the toys and books and get them ready for assembly by our kindergarten and first grade BML students and their parents on April 23rd in honor of Israel’s 75th anniversary.
