DESCRIPTION:Breaking Bread on Broad (BBoB) now provides food\, diapers\, and feminine hygiene supplies to up to one hundred families in need each Wednesday morning outside our Green Street entrance. BBoB partners with a variety of Philadelphia non-profits and our own RS members to obtain and distribute these necessary items. We fulfill our RS mission to create profound connections within our RS community as we join together in this sacred work of tikkun olam and within our neighborhood through our partnerships with other organizations and our relationships with the families we serve. SUMMARY:Every Voice\, Every Vote Campaign Postcard Party
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the synagogue on June 16\, 2026 at 6 PM to get out the vote for the November election.  We will discuss what is at stake and write post cards to PA voters connected with OnePA4All.  They are a Black led organization which builds the voter base by increasing interest.  RAC-PA and RS have partnered with them since 2020. \nWe value your time and want you to know that studies show postcards can be more effective than phone calls or texts in encouraging voter participation. It is also more fun to do this work together as a group. \nIf you would like to write more postcards\, you can take some home with you. There will also be additional opportunities to participate later in the summer. \nPlease bring colorful pens. SUMMARY:Breaking Bread on Broad Distribution
DESCRIPTION:Breaking Bread on Broad (BBoB) now provides food\, diapers\, and feminine hygiene supplies to up to one hundred families in need each Wednesday morning outside our Green Street entrance. BBoB partners with a variety of Philadelphia non-profits and our own RS members to obtain and distribute these necessary items. We fulfill our RS mission to create profound connections within our RS community as we join together in this sacred work of tikkun olam and within our neighborhood through our partnerships with other organizations and our relationships with the families we serve.
