We will be in the midst of counting the Omer, a journey into the seven basic emotions that make up the spectrum of human experience, from loving-kindness to leadership. We count each day from the second night of Passover until the day before the holiday of Shavuot, when we celebrate the occasion of receiving the Torah on Mt. Sinai.

At this gathering, we will think about how compassion must include humility, and should never be condescending or pretentious. How do we show compassion to our family, friends, community and the strangers among us? Please join us for good food, companionship, and a safe place to share our stories.
