The hunger, poverty, and trauma of so many people at home and abroad can feel overwhelming despite our best efforts at tikkun olam (repairing the world). But here’s a simple way to make a concrete positive impact in the lives of our food-insecure neighbors:

Knitzvot and Breaking Bread on Broad (RS’s food pantry) are teaming up for the second annual BUNDLED UP ON BROAD!!

This drive puts warm clothes and other winter necessities directly into the hands of the food-insecure families who come to BBoB each week.

For 2024, we are introducing an online silent auction to complement Bundled Up’s core Amazon gift registry. Our fabulous crafters are knitting, crocheting, and beading as we speak! When you bid on a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind shawl, blanket, or child’s toy, you’ll know that if you win, every dollar will go straight towards mittens, hats, warm socks, and more for our neighbors who would otherwise have to face the winter with inadequate and outgrown clothing.

Bundled Up on Broad is truly a win-win: the joy and comfort on the faces of our BBoB children and families as they open their bundles can only be matched by your own joy and comfort in having made your community warmer.

Please keep an eye out for more details in the coming weeks! Gift registry will run from October 28 – November 29, 2024, with the auction open November 15 – 22.
