LawyeRS initial meeting will feature RS member Lexa Edsall*. Lexa was a Law Clerk to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg during the 1998-1999 Court term. She will discuss her service to the Justice and other observations about the U.S. Supreme Court from the perspective of a Justice’s Law Clerk. The program, including a dinner following Shabbat service, will be on Friday, September 13, 2019. The event will be open to all RS members and guests.

* Alexandra (Lexa) Tileston Victor Edsall is active in the Philadelphia community as a trustee of the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Rosenbach Museum & Library. She is active with her children’s school, Germantown Friends School, where she serves on the School Committee. She also volunteers for Turn PA Blue and the Community Design Collaborative.
Lexa moved to Philadelphia in 2008, when her husband, Robert (Bob) Victor, joined Comcast. She previously lived in Washington, D.C., where she practiced law at Covington & Burling and with the U.S. Treasury and Justice Departments. She clerked for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg from 1998-1999.
Lexa holds a J.D. and B.A. from Harvard University and a Master of City Planning degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Lexa lives in Chestnut Hill with her husband and two children.
