Introduction to Judaism

If you are an interfaith couple, considering converting to Judaism, or Jewish and looking for beginner’s education, Introduction to Judaism is perfect for you. Taught by RS clergy, this course provides a foundation of the Jewish faith, culture, people and history, from a Reform perspective. Topics include Shabbat, The Life Cycle: Birth, B’nai Mitzvah, Conversion, Wedding, Death, Mourning, Afterlife, Jewish Holidays, Jewish History, Prayers & Blessings, and more. Taste of Judaism

Designed for those who would like to learn about the foundations of Judaism or for those who may be searching for an entryway into Jewish life, this course explores Jewish perspectives on spirituality, values, and community. The class is led by RS clergy in the summer. Contact Steven Share for information.
