If you do not have a High Holy Day emailed pass and a photo ID, and if personnel do not recognize you as a congregant, you will be directed to an information table.

Screening & Security: Our Ongoing Commitment to Welcoming You

• We are grateful to be in a congregation where we are committed to taking care of each other and to be in an ongoing partnership with a security consultant who understands Philadelphia and the RS vision. To enhance safety and improve the arrival experience during the High Holy Days, we will introduce a new weapons detection system at the Green Street entrance. This technology allows congregants to move through the screening process more efficiently, helping to reduce long lines while maintaining a high level of security. As part of our layered security approach, bag checks and handheld wand screening will still be used in some situations. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we continue to balance a welcoming environment with the safety of our congregation. Click here to review our security protocols.

Overflow Parking Location

• Consider using Uber, Lyft, taxis, or SEPTA
• Use the Parkway Middle College school parking lot (enter at Brandywine or Green Streets)
• When the RS and the adjacent school lot reach capacity, use nearby commercial parking.

The Philadelphia Police Department, along with additional security personnel, are on site during services.

• The Levitt Gershman Lobby (adjacent to the Green Street doors) is the central gathering point for our community. Our greeters, who are distinguished by a ribbon on their name badges, will welcome and assist you.
