RS Women's Suffrage Project

Please join the RS Women's Suffrage Project and Rabbi Maderer at its first official meeting on Tuesday, October 22 at 6:00pm.

The RS Suffrage Project is a collaboration between Congregation Rodeph Shalom and the Temple University Feinstein Center, co-chaired by Marilyn Cohen and Marsha Weinraub. We seek to understand the role Jewish people played in this early American social justice movement, with special emphasis on the roles RS women played. This project of study and learning will honor the 100 year anniversary of the passing of the 19th Amendment ensuring Women’s Suffrage. Volunteers are especially needed to curate a discussion board on the topic of suffrage.

Contact Marsha Weinraub for more information.
