Exile to Babylonia and Return
The Babylonians destroyed Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem in the year 586 B.C.E. Much of Jerusalem was destroyed and a large number if its inhabitants were exiled to Babylonia. The exile and its aftermath is was one of the most important transitions in Jewish history, historically and theologically. In this session we will learn about the importance of that moment in our past.
