Tribute Gifts
Making a Tribute Gift to Congregation Rodeph Shalom is a traditional, meaningful way to commemorate life’s joys, to remember those that we have lost, and to express companionship during the happy and the difficult moments in our lives.
All Tribute Gifts are listed in our bi-monthly bulletin (with permission from the donor). You may also choose to send a tribute card with a custom message to let the tributee or their family know that you made a gift in their honor.
Remember
- Remember a loved one with a gift to the Memorial Fund, a traditional way to mark a Yahrzeit, the anniversary of one’s passing.
Express your condolences to fellow congregants, family, and friends who have experienced a loss, making a gift in memory of their loved one.
You also have the opportunity to remember your loved one with a Perpetual Memorial Plaque.
As a congregation rich in tradition, we value the generational continuity provided by Perpetual Memorials. The Congregation observes the Yahrzeits of current members. This program ensures that future generations will be reminded of our loved ones as well. Contact Sophia Schwab to set up a Perpetual Memorial.
Honor
Commemorate life’s joyful moments and milestones with a gift made in honor of a family member, friend, or colleague. Whether you would like to wish a heartfelt Mazel Tov to a recent Bet Mitzvah, celebrate the birth of a new child, or show your appreciation to someone who has made a positive impact in your life or in our world, a tribute gift to Rodeph Shalom is always a meaningful way to honor their accomplishment.
In addition to making a tribute gift in memory of your loved one, you have the opportunity to remember them with a Perpetual Memorial, which includes annual placement in the Roll of Remembrance book along with a memorial plaque hung in the sanctuary on your loved one’s yahrzeit. For more information about Perpetual Memorials, contact Sophia Schwab, Clergy Assistant at sschwab@rodephshalom.org.
