On the first night of Passover, Friday, April 19, there will not be a Shabbat evening service at RS.

Congregational Second Night Seder
Saturday, April 20 at 5:30pm

Join together for a multi-generational seder. Registration closed.

Passover Festival Service & Yizkor
Friday, April 26 at 10:45am

Join us for the last day of Passover at our Festival Service & Yizkor.

The Four Questions
The four questions, read by the youngest member at the seder table, asks "Why is this night different from all other nights?"

The First Question:

Ma nishtanah halailah hazeh mikol haleilot?
Sheb'khol haleilot anu okhlin hametz umatzah; halailah hazeh, kuloh matzah.

Why is this night different from all other nights?
On all other nights we eat leavened products and matzah, and on this night only matzah.

The Second Question:

Sheb'khol haleilot anu okhlin sh'ar y'rakot; halailah hazeh, maror.
On all other nights we eat all vegetables, and on this night only bitter herbs.

The Third Question:

Sheb'khol haleilot ein anu matbilin afilu pa'am ehat; halailah hazeh, shtei f'amim.
On all other nights, we don't dip our food even once, and on this night we dip twice.

The Fourth Question:

On all other nights we eat sitting or reclining, and on this night we only recline.
