MUSIC AT RS

Ani Kinor: The RS Orchestra

Ani Kinor: The RS Orchestra, takes its name from the Israeli songwriting giant Naomi Shemer’s song “Yerushalayim Shel Zahav,” Jerusalem of Gold. The final line of this song’s chorus is L’chol shirayich Ani Kinor, for all of your songs, I am a stringed instrument.   The strings and the whole ensemble give voice to our prayers in a contemporary way. Thanks to the support of the Snitzer Religious Music Fund, we are able to welcome this large ensemble to our sacred space once each month.
