Art & Activism: Philadelphia Museum of Jewish Art Latke/Vodka Hanukkah Celebration

December 17 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join for this beloved tradition celebrating the miracle of the Hanukkah lights. Spark new connections and indulge your senses.

The event begins with a panel discussion moderated by Bill Valerio, the director at the Woodmere Art Museum with Ani Maitin, daughter of Sam Maitin and Henry Bermudez, a Venezula-born contemporary artist. Discussion will focus on the Jewish values of social justice and personal responsibility in the graphic art works of Edith Kaplan and Sam Maitin on view in the PMJA Gutman Gallery and the role of the contemporary artist in addressing social issues.

Then, celebrate the Festival of Lights at this Latke/Vodka gathering.

$90/person here. When you become a Philanthropic Year Patron, your attendance is included. Patrons please RSVP to Michael Saks.
