Join on Friday, February 20, after Shabbat services for dinner and guest speaker Jared Armstrong, a professional Black-Jewish American Israeli basketball player who currently plays internationally for Hapoel Eilat in Israel. He is currently a leading voice among young athletes, using his platform to actively combat racism, antisemitism, and all forms of hate through sports.
He organizes camps and clinics both in the U.S. and internationally, to help bridge gaps between diverse communities. Rodeph Shalom students have attended. Through his global influence, he founded JAB Camp, a high-caliber basketball program for youth ages 6 – 14. His mission to inspire the next generation to use sports to develop self-esteem and sportsmanship. Click here to read about Jared from JNS.
