Beth Ahavah Reunion & Celebration

November 14 @ 7:15 pm - 9:00 pm

All are welcome as we lift our voices in gratitude, remembrance, and joy—celebrating 50 years of courage, community, and love. Join us for a special Shabbat evening honoring the 50th anniversary of Congregation Beth Ahavah, one of the nation’s earliest gay and lesbian synagogues and a beloved part of Philadelphia’s Jewish story. Founded in 1975, Beth Ahavah provided a sacred home for LGBTQ+ Jews to celebrate their identities openly and joyfully—a courageous act of faith and community at a time when inclusion was far from assured. We will gather for a Shabbat dinner followed by a speaker presentation reflecting on Beth Ahavah’s inspiring legacy and how its spirit of welcome and justice lives on today through pRiSm, Rodeph Shalom’s LGBTQ+ engagement group. Together, we’ll honor the pioneers who built this affirming community and celebrate the ongoing journey toward inclusion, equality, and pride in Jewish life.

$36/person. Register here.
