Israel/Palestine Discussion Group

Journalism professor and commentator Peter Beinart wrote his new book, Being Jewish After the Destruction of Gaza: A Reckoning because he sensed that the organized Jewish community “had no limits.” When it came Israel “it would never say ‘enough.’” The book has been praised and attacked and Beinart has welcomed his critics to engage with his arguments. We will play a segment of an interview he conducted with one of these critics to open our discussion of the book.
