Shavuot, which commemorates the gift of the Ten Commandments, starts on June 1, just a few days later. Let’s look at Miriam, Ruth and Naomi, who all play a role in the Jewish story of revelation, redemption and resistance, and think about how their stories are relevant to our lives today.
