“Stories That Open Us: Listening to Israelis & Palestinians” with Journalist Ittay Flescher

March 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Israel ConnectRS and the Israel-Palestine Discussion Group invite you to an evening with journalist, educator, and peacebuilder Ittay Flescher, author of The Holy and the Broken: A Cry for Israeli-Palestinian Peace from a Land That Must Be Shared. As Education Director at Seeds of Peace Jerusalem and Jerusalem correspondent for The Jewish Independent, Flescher has spent more than two decades facilitating dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians and amplifying stories of people working for understanding and dignity across lines of difference.

This event is part of Tell Me More, our Rodeph Shalom initiative that brings congregants with differing opinions about Israel into conversation, helping us listen courageously, share honestly, and stay connected even when we disagree.

Join us for a thoughtful and hopeful conversation about how stories can soften our assumptions, widen our empathy, and invite us into deeper relationship with one another.

Register here. This program is generously supported by the Behrend Lecture Fund.
