The site of the ELC will be Rodeph Shalom’s new property (619 North Broad Street, right across Mt. Vernon Street). This starter location will provide children with an onsite, secured outdoor playground as well as regular use of the Sanctuary and the active involvement of the RS rabbis. The ELC will serve children six weeks to five years of age. Our ELC partner is Federation Early Learning Services (FELS), which is known throughout the region as a premier provider of care and education for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. FELS will manage the program utilizing the highest standards of child care and will strive for NAEYC and Keystone Stars current standards.

While the ELC welcomes the diversity of Center City, our primary mission is to serve members of Congregation Rodeph Shalom and the broader Jewish community.
