Israel/Palestinian Discussion Group

Jennifer James, the Director of Youth Learning and Engagement at RS, will join on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 6:30 p.m. She will discuss the post-October 7 challenge of teaching fairly about Israel, Gaza, and Palestine at Berkman Merkaz Limud. We will also watch an excerpt from the provocative documentary Israelism. This film features two young American Jews whose lives are upended as they witness the harsh realities of Palestinian life. Guests are welcome. The Israelism film is available on the internet on many platforms. We encourage you to watch it before the session.
