“Broadway Tonight” Presented by RS & The No Name Pops
December 7 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
7:00 p.m. performance
Join for an evening of music, food, and fun with the No Name Pops (composed of the former musicians of the Philly Pops). Explore the timeless works of Jewish composers who have shaped so much of Broadway’s history. From the classic melodies of Porgy and Bess and West Side Story to the modern magic of Into the Woods and Wicked, we will explore themes of racism, prejudice, discrimination, assimilation, and acceptance, which are fundamental to these works and continue to resonate today. This night features the exceptional musicians of the Philadelphia-based No Name Pops, alongside the dynamic vocal talents of Isabel Robin (recently on the Broadway national tour of Fiddler on the Roof and Ben Dibble (seen at the Walnut Street Theatre in Cinderella and Rocky).
Hors d’oeuvres and dessert reception immediately following.
