“Is the Two-State Solution an Achievable Goal in Israel and Palestine Today?” with Professor Ian Lustick

March 5 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

While most independent experts on Israel and Palestine believe that a two-state solution to the Israel/Palestine problem is an unattainable aim, many American politicians, American Jews, and even some Palestinian and Israel leaders still see it as the best hope. Why?

Join us as we plunge into this thicket with Professor Ian Lustick, a distinguished analyst of Middle-Eastern affairs. Has hoping for a two-state solution become a way to avoid facing the problems that the current one-state reality poses? What can we learn from the stories of places in the world that have managed to include traditionally excluded segments of their populations? Can American & Jewish values be sources of new insight and hope in the current moment?
