Suffrage, Jewish Activism, and the Enduring Struggle for a Political Voice–Marking the 100th Year of Women’s Right to Vote

It’s been 100 years since the United States granted women the right to vote. Yet, how far have we, as a nation, come in extending full suffrage for all and rights for women?

Dr. Judith Rosenbaum, CEO of the Jewish Women’s Archive, and Professor Lila Corwin Berman of Temple University will discuss the historical significance of the fight for suffrage and the right to vote for women, for Jews, and for Americans.

This evening is a collaboration between the Feinstein Center for American Jewish History, directed by Dr. Corwin Berman, and the RS Suffrage Project.

Sponsored by the Broder family.
