Join Zoom here

Rabbi Evan Moffic, Ellen and Stanley Poster’s son-in-law, and his father, Dr. Steven Moffic, will share insights from Rabbi Moffic’s book, First the Jews:  Combating the World’s Longest-Running Hate Campaign, and Dr. Steven Moffic’s book, Anti-Semitism and Psychiatry.  They will discuss the history of anti-Semitism and how it impacts everyone, Jew and non-Jew alike.  Their discussion will include topics such as a definition of anti-Semitism, the influence of the Holocaust on the development of psychiatry in this country, and how anti-Semitism is a harbinger of other toxic social political problems.  Also on the panel will be Jonathan Krause, a lawyer and a member of the board of RS and of the Anti-Defamation League, to discuss these issues through an ADL lens.  The program will be moderated by Elaine Jaskol.
