Climate Change: What Is It and How Can We Solve It?
Tuesday, February 23, at 8 PM over Zoom
Open to all; hosted by Men of RS

What is climate change and how can we solve it? These huge questions don’t actually have to be that intimidating or complicated. This talk will cover some of the basic facts of climate science, and elucidate both why climate change has proved such a tricky issue to tackle while also presenting a number of solutions that could lead to a healthier planet. Please drink wine before and during the talk to allow for a better conversation.

Lucas Isakowitz is a current Presidential Management Fellow for the federal government, where he works on cross agency environmental policy initiatives. He has a master’s from the Yale School of Environment, where he studied international climate policy under former Secretary of State John Kerry. In another life, he worked as a journalist and commercial salmon fisherman, and now he is putting his energy towards finding effective policy solutions that work for both the present and the future.
