L’dor V’dor: Grandparenting in the Time of COVID – 4:15-5:15 PM
Join Zoom here
We Jews are usually invested in keeping family ties and Jewish values alive from generation to generation. We will gain insights from Geoff Neimark, a psychiatrist, and Gabriel Kuriloff, an educator, on the importance of grandparents in the lives of their grandchildren especially in these days of social distancing, and how grandparents can continue to provide emotional and academic support, even when family visits are virtual events. We will hear from a panel of grandparents, Jonathan Broder, Sarah-Ann Friedman, Muriel Kudera, and Betsy Ostrow, with grandchildren of different ages, both in Philadelphia and at a distance, who have been discovering new ways to nurture these vital relationships, bringing comfort and strength to both generations.
