Becky Felderman has brought her four children to America’s Lower East Side so that they might have a better life than in Russia. Spanning 1910-1931, this theatre classic, featuring RS Young Friends Ben Behrend and Jesse Bernstein, is set against the background of such historic events as the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire, World War I, and the Great Depression, shaping the lives and destinies of the family. Written by Sylvia Regan.

Produced in collaboration with Theater Ariel and the Philadelphia Artists’ Collective. Click here to get your tickets. Thank you to the Behrend Lecture Fund for its sponsorship. A portion of the proceeds will benefit HIAS.
