9:30 – 10:15 a.m.: Purim Shpiel & Megillah Reading: Bring a box of dried pasta to use as a gragger to drown out evil Haman’s name — and then donate the box to Breaking Bread on Broad, our congregational initiative to help alleviate food insecurity in our neighborhood.

 

10:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Purim Carnival — With balloon animals and a DJ and a gaga court and prizes and karaoke and games galore! We also have quiet space with board games, for those who need a break from the hoopla. We do not charge for tickets to the Purim carnival. No food will be served at the carnival.

 

10:30-11:30 a.m.: Drag Queen Story Hour for Purim — Everyone is welcome to drop in for this new annual tradition at Rodeph Shalom! Sponsored by pRiSm.
