As we rededicate ourselves to understanding and honoring our diversity, examine how Broadway characters have evolved over time and have represented religions, people of color, differing gender and sexual orientations with Broadway Musical Historian and author Steve Friedman. His knowledge of the backstories help audiences navigate this timely musical theater journey from the 1920’s to the 2020’s. Monica Kramer, co-chair of the Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Task Force, will moderate the Q&A following the program.
