Join us for a special Shabbat service on December 4, 2020, commemorating World AIDS Day.
December 1, 2020 is World AIDS Day, which we will commemorate during Friday night Shabbat services on December 4, 2020. To learn more about World AIDS Day, click here.
Join us in viewing the Virtual Quilt Exhibition
We also observe World AIDS Day by viewing panels of the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt. This year, we can see panels of the Quilt through a Virtual Quilt Exhibition. The exhibition is free to the public now through March 31, 2021. Click here to see the virtual display.
Learn about The Reunion Project
One of the hosts for the Virtual Quilt Exhibition is The Reunion Project, of which pRiSm co-chair Heshie Zinman is a national board member. Here is some information about The Reunion Project.
The Reunion Project is the national alliance for HIV/AIDS long-term survival. We are a building a diverse network of local and national HIV advocates, providers, and researchers, honoring the power of sharing our unique stories. Through in-person and online events we are creating lasting connections and invite you to join us. Thank you. Visit our website, The Reunion Project, and use the “Connect with us!” link to subscribe.
We hope you find attending Shabbat services on December 4th, seeing the close-up photograph of the BA Quilt block, viewing the Virtual Quilt Exhibition and learning more about the Reunion Project meaningful ways to observe World AIDS Day.
