It’s been a few weeks since we last gathered online, and I hope in the meantime you have been staying safe and healthy.

Normally, the end of May brings the end of youth programming at Rodeph Shalom for the summer months.  However, these are not normal times.  I have heard from many families that Sunday mornings at Virtual Berkman Mercaz Limud, and afternoon sessions with RSTY and Midweek Hebrew, were important interludes in their lives, for their children and themselves.  With most camps and summer programs cancelled, there is a need for continued programming and we are preparing to meet that need.  And of course, it is always good for the children to gather with their Rodeph Shalom friends and continue the connections that provide so much fun and meaning.

To help me plan a slate of summer online activities for all ages, please respond to the parent survey and have your child or teen respond to their appropriate survey.  Each one can be completed in about two minutes.

Children’s Survey (current grades PreK-6th)

Teen Survey (current grades 7-9th)

Looking further ahead, we are ready to begin registration for the 2020-21 school year.  Each family will receive an email on Friday with registration links for each school-aged child in the family.

I can’t wait to hear from you and to plan something special for your children over the summer!

Jennifer
