First few sessions are virtual
 
New and expecting parents are invited to come together in a small group to share experiences with other new parents and build community. Topics include but are not limited to: How do I take care of myself and my baby at the same time? What does it mean to parent a Jewish child? Trained group leaders are Kait Yulman (parent of young children and clinical social worker) and Fran Martin (parent, grandparent, and clinical child psychologist).

Open to all. Group size is limited to 8 parents. Rodeph Shalom members and Buerger Early Learning Center families are given priority. Part of the Rodeph Shalom Small Groups initiative.

When in person, parents are welcome to come alone or bring their vaccinated children. Health guidelines will be clear and sensitive to the pandemic situation at the time. Proof of vaccination required to enter the building.
