The Buerger Early Learning Center: A Joint Program of Congregation Rodeph Shalom and Federation Early Learning Services, is preparing to open!

There will be an Open House for parents interested in learning more about the center (619 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA.  19123) on Thursday, July 22, 4-7pm and on Sunday, August 1, 10am -12noon.  You will have an opportunity to meet the center director, see the furnished, equipped classrooms and the onsite playground.  If you are interested in attending either of these events, please RSVP to Director Megan Nachod, mnachod@felskids.org.  Parking is available onsite and refreshments will be served.  We hope that we have the opportunity to meet you and your child.The Buerger Early Learning Center is thrilled to introduce our new and founding director, Megan Nachod!  Megan has a Master’s Degree in early childhood education, certification from the American Montessori Society (for pre-primary children), extensive teaching and administrative experience and the right leadership to make this a first rate center. Her exemplary performance as the director of a highly successful Jewish early childhood program and her ability to communicate well with parents as an Early Intervention Specialist at the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, will serve our community beautifully.

Plans for our first day on August 30 are well on their way.  Parents have been calling, inquiring about the program and enrolling their children at a rate that far exceeds our first year projections.  Parents in Center City are hungry for a high quality, Jewish, full day program, parents know about Federation Early Learning Services’ reputation and trust that they only operate the highest quality programs, and parents have confidence in Congregation Rodeph Shalom and know that they would only be part of a premiere center.

Every step of the way, we are creating a space and program that is purpose-driven.  The vibrant, fresh, custom-renovated space is now complete and ready for visitors!
