Code Name Ayalon: Israel ConnectRS Speaker Series

February 5 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

How was a nascent Israel able to turn back the armies of five Arab countries determined to destroy her before she was declared a state? 45 Israeli teenagers, who operated a clandestine bullet factory, code name “Ayalon,” were the secret to Israel’s success! Every day for two and a half years, these brave young people risked their lives to turn out the 2.25 million bullets David Ben-Gurion called essential to bringing the State of Israel into existence.

On Sunday, February 5 at 10:00 a.m., see this remarkable story brought to life in this dramatic documentary film produced by local producer and former broadcast journalist Laurel Fairworth, who will be present to answer questions and share her personal experiences making the film and interviewing the last ten survivors of the Israeli heroes who helped bring Israel to life.

Light breakfast is available. Register here.
